Have messages marked as read for specific folders
I know how to organize my messages to be filtered and placed in specific folders depending on the email address, but what I don't know how to do is to get the specific incoming emails (ones going to specific folders) to be marked as read but only for those specific email addresses. Could someone tell me how to do this?

I checked on that and I already had that setup on another folder where I have things routed automatically and remember that items going into that folder are never marked as read even though the filter says "Mark as read." I will try it for this one too and see if that works for this folder even though it didn't work for the other.
You could try reversing the order of the filter actions. Perhaps you need to mark as read before moving, or vice versa.
Zenos was correct the problem was the reversing of the filter order. That solved it.
