I think I downloaded/updated adobe and flash player, which is causing many problems to my computer. Getting smart drive detects immenient failure message F1 boot. I did a system recover to 3 weeks prior to this message and I still can't open firefox. If I uninstall it can I reinstall without losing my bookmarks or files?

You can backup your personal data and you needed you restore it, but when you are uninstalling Firefox, it gives you the option to keep your personal data.

Hi, no you shouldn't. See Uninstall Firefox from your computer, but do not 'Remove user data and settings' which are saved in your Profile - Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

For added bookmarks security, you can if you wish, backup your bookmarks by: Open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Export Bookmarks to HTML, and save them to somewhere on your computer.
