The previous versions are being tested and certified by manufacturers before being released.

The manufacturers are responsible for testing, certifying, and releasing new official updates for each device, and they will have more information about your specific Firefox OS model.

Hi ralph i asked symphony to update my os but they said they are not able to update this. Update is not permitted by their higher authority. what can i do now?

Unfortunately, Mozilla does not have the permission or legal rights to release updates for commercial devices.

The manufacturers are the only ones who are able to test, certify, and release updates for the commercial devices.

Some users have been able to manually root, build, and flash updates to certain devices, but I have not heard about anyone attempting this with the Symphony GoFox15.
