When I try launch my firefox it just shows the loading icon then nothing happens! I try to uninstall it and it tells me to close firefox before trying to uninstall. So I can't use it, and I can't delete it. What can I do? I still want to use firefox if it will let me.

What version of Firefox are you using? Do you have another browser on your computer? From there you should be able to go to the Mozilla Firefox download site and hope the new download over-rides the old version.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
