Why will plugins not work since I updated to fiefox 4?

I cannot see anything on facebook or see videos on utube. I go to my email and all info is there on the screen, except the actual email I want to read. Is it something in the settings? I go to Mozilla.com and the download button is not there for me to try to download firefox again.
