I am trying to use Synch to move my settings to a brand new computer but it defaults to a very old email address. WHen I try to enter my current email it give me an error message and I do not see anyoption to update the email; which I beleieve is necessary for the new computer to receive a message and be able to access the settings.

Have you tried using that old email address to get your data Sync'd to that new PC?
You shouldn't need to receive an email for the Sync process to proceed, AFAIK that's only used as a 2nd form of identification, along with your Account Name.

Then once your data is on your new PC, worry about fixing that email address situation.

That said, you might want to wait a few days before trying to Sync your data, there have been problems with the Sync server the last 3 days, starting on Dec 3rd, as a result of an upgrade. (IMO, Thursday or Friday updates shouldn't be allowed - they should allow for potential problems and don't make it so users are focked over a weekend, and have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for problems to be fixed!)

You need to update your email address to get your password mailed to you if you've forgotten it. I can't find out how to update and I no longer have that old email address.
