I just happen to click on or near the toolbar and it vanished. The back and forward arrows, favorites, history, bookmarks, tools ....everything on the toolbar is missing. How do I get them back so I can navigate like I use to? How do I get out of this application?

In Firefox 3.6 on Windows you can hide the menu bar via "View > Toolbars" or via the right click context menu on a toolbar. Press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the menu bar. Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the menu bar or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide.

To get your menu bar back press ALT V T M in that exact order and your toolbar should be back!

I tried pressing ALT V T M in order. The view window came up as if I had clicked on it, but it did not solve the back, forth and bookmarks from being missing.

Thanks for the reply. They do appear, but in shadow form and unusable. Same with the Bookmarks. Still not working. Any help out there is appreciated. :)

Try reverting to the Default theme (Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
