Slow Pperformance problems since last update

I have explored every option and find it is the latest FF update that has effected the web performance of both my Desktop and laptop. Both are running Windows 1O. Incredibly slow connectivity and some sites either time out or simply won't connect. Very frustrating. Please advise. Tks
