Search: Message found with some keywords but not with others
I have a strange problem with searching (Ctrl+K) in Thunderbird:
These search keywords: 'attempt remote viewing predict numerical information' do NOT find the wanted message.
These search keywords: 'trying predict certain asset stock currency commodity specific time-interval' DO find the wanted message.
I have attached a screen shot of the relevant part of the message in question, without any private information.

Thank you for your fast answer!
That puts me in somewhat of a dilemma, because I often use 'Paste as Quotation' to insert something in a mail I am composing. So it would be VERY smart if TB could distinguish between quotation generated automatically by TB when you 'Reply' to a message, and blocks I insert as "quotations" in messages!

It would be helpful if there was an option to exclude, or not, quoted text from Global Search. I guess the intention was to limit the performance decrease with large databases. There are other limitations of global search, e.g. junk, scam, encrypted are excluded, and Trash is excluded unless switched on. Here is the meta-bug for global search issues: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541349
Funny you should mention THAT bug. I have now reported the problem there. This is the third time I report a problem in that bug's discussion.
Perhaps you do not understand. A meta bug is a bug that exists to draw together all related bug. in this case Global search bugs. It is not a reporting venue and nothing in the discussion will result in action on a particular problem. If you want to report a new bug, do so. and mark it as blocking https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541349 so it appears in the bug list for the meta bug.
