after an update on the 18th, none of my emails received prior to that date show any content when opened.

All emails that I received before Thunderbird updated itself (ones I may have viewed and decided to keep and not delete as well as ones I didn't get around to opening) , now appear in my inbox but have no content when I open them (literally a blank page).
