Cannot create new calendar on google calendar

I followed the instruction to create new calendar on google however I don't see any available calendar when it prompts "Please select the calendars and task list you would like to subscribe to"

The box is empty and there is nothing to choose even though I have created several calendars on google calendar.

Can anyone help?

Follow up:

I tried following steps: I created new debian user account for test and then configured calendar, it works as it supposed to.

So now I have new question:

How do I remove or wipe out existing calendar data/set up completely and start over?

Have you installed any addons, such as Provider For Google Calendar? Or are you trying to use CalDav?

To remove a calendar, right-click it in the small pane to the left of the main grid window and select "unsubscribe".

Yes, I have provider for google calendar installed.

It turned out to be the problem is the provider for google. had version 4.4 installed but I downgraded the version 3.3 now things are working now. 

Something is wrong with newer version.
