Silverlight not working in Firefox

Today I reinstalled Silverlight 8 times and updated Firefox to v.36.0. I also reinstalled the Widevine Media Optimizer. When I updated the Widevine component in Google Chrome, Silverlight began to work in Chrome. So I'm thinking some component in Firefox needs to be updated for it to work in Firefox

In Firefox, Silverlight won't load at Netflix or at Amazon Instant Video. It did work consistently for about a year, but today it quit.

At Netflix I get error code 2103 with reinstall instructions, at Amazon I just get reinstall instructions

I have a MacBook Pro 2.3 GHz, 8GB RAM, Mac OS 10.9.5

What else can I try?

Is the add on being blocked? Please check the Permissions by right clicking on the page selecting Page Info and scrolling down to the Silverlight plugin.
