Why oh why doesn't the mighty Mozilla allow me to organise my bookmarks alphabeticaly. Much lesser browsers do, Mozilla doesn't allow me to organise bookmarks at all. I use bookmarks extesively, it wouldn't take much coding to allow me to sort them. Putting them in as saved order makes no sense. Come on guys 'n' gals get with the program!

I have used Thunderbird for years without issue. In the last 2 days, it keeps crashing on one of my laptops (fine on the other). I sent a crash report, but I can't reopen Thunderbird. I tried both quitting and restarting. I shut down my computer and restarted it. I tried updating by downloading the latest version, but that didn't work either. I completely uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and it worked for a few hours. Now, it is back to the Crash Report.
Any suggestions? I love TB and don't want to switch to something else.

I've recently switched from K9 to Thunderbird. Never had any issues with K9, just liked that Thunderbird was basically the same but without the dated look.
Thunderbird however does not send any push notifications.
What I've done this far: -Re-install Thunderbird -Check if Thunderbird has notification permissions (it does) -Exclude Thunderbird from any and all power management
However, I still have not received a single push notification this far.
Does anyone know a workaround for this? Or is this maybe some kind of bug?
I'm using a Nokia G42 5G with stock Android 14.

Starting today 11/06/2024 when I open Thunderbird on my desktop (Win11 Pro) it takes at least a minute to show any new emails, while the bar at the bottom reads:
connecting to outlook.office365.com
and the progress bar on the bottom right of the window is full blue (as if it's working but not moving).
This issue just started today and I've had intermittent slow downs for a while now.
I've tried 'troubleshoot mode' and the issue is still there. I've restarted my computer and the program several times, I don't use any addons for the program to disable for troubleshoot mode to turn off. I click on the 'Get Messages' icon next to the 'New Mail' icon and it makes no difference, the program just hangs for around a minute before it responds and shows any new emails. I can click everything and open all other parts of the Thunderbird program, it just will not connect to get new emails for around a minute and has been consistently doing this all day so far.
I need to use this website for scheduling for work. It only 'blinks' the log in screen and then everything turns grey. How do I fix this?

Thunderbird used to work fine for me, but since today I cannot start it anymore. It opens a blank window and freezes. I tried some basic stuff like restarting my PC, uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird and starting it with all add-ons disabled. While searching for similar errors I found some solutions that included deleting the parent.lock file from the profiles folder and deleting the windows cache in appdata/local/thunderbird/profiles, which also did not solve the issue for me. Any ideas?

Yet there's no rhyme or reason to this - some emails send inline with quoted forwarded email. Most of the time though the email forward as attachment.
Two computers have the exact same settings, but each have different accounts associated, but same imap host. One computer is OK at forwarding emails. The other one not.
What's going on? How can we best troublsehoot this?

How do I delete an account? My system forced me to create a new profile, and I have some confusing stuff in there now. I have five EarthLink accounts that I had set up individually in my old profile, but now I have some account duplicates and a couple accounts don't show at all. I assume they're still on my computer because it's a pop file, but I haven't been able to find them so far. My main email address shows up twice in the file hierarchy down the left column. I get the same message in each of those address folders, but in the one at the top of the column, I get each email twice. I tried to delete the duplicate folder but can't find any way to do it.
It's more complicated because apparently I have different passwords for some of these accounts with EarthLink. Suspect that's a problem I'll have to work out with EarthLink though.

I've had an issue on my Mac Mini since (I think) I bought it ~1.5 years ago. Firefox essentially stops responding randomly. When it happens, I can usually still scroll through the page, but I'm unable to click on any links on it. Other things like hovering over things that might change color also stops working. When it happens, it happens to all tabs that are open. It usually eventually comes back on it's own after a couple minutes. The weird thing is as soon as I load any other external application, even something as simple as Settings or Preview, Firefox will immediately spring back to life. Only a couple common addons (Ublock Origin) but it happens even with all add-ons disabled. It's sporadic, sometimes I can go all day without it happening, other times it happens every few minutes.
It's persisted through 3 different OS upgrades and countless Firefox versions. I've tried everything I can find about troubleshooting Firefox on mac and nothing works. It's not a resource thing as it happens with only Gmail open sometimes and Firefox being the only thing running. I'm at a loss and looking for anything that might help. I've never seen this issue on other Macs I've used Firefox with.
