Like the title says. I've removed this (see img) page from history and tried hitting SHIFT + DEL with the suggestion highlighted, but it just persists. How can I get rid of it?

I can't tell if I've got a browser hijacker. I'm on an android phone on Firefox and using duckduckgo. I have avast antivirus, but the free version. And in the last 24 hours, sometimes when I type inquiries, usually if its a string of letters and numbers, it will redirect me to a website unrelated to my search. For instance, typing in mig23(looking up fighter jet), it won't do searches and instead will take me to some UK boat website. "OICE", a typo, takes me to a NASA OIIR website. It appears to be close to whatever I typed in, but also doesn't happen every single time. This doesn't happen on my other devices, but it also doesn't happen when I use google in Firefox. However, it is possible that this happened on my laptop but I do not have access to it right now.

I am always in fear of viruses and I desperately want this to be a computer glitch. I cleared the DNS cache, I deleted some files and apps and rebooted and its still happening! I don't know what file could've done it.

On a new computer, I entered a new Mozilla password, and Mozilla on new computer won't sync with my old bookmarks, which still are on old computer.

Sync doesn't add these bookmarks.

Both computers now sign in with new PW. I can't go back to old PW (doesn't have current standards).

How to get sync to work, and get my bookmarks on new computer?

how can a firefox145 (on Win11) update be rolled back?

it seems update 145.0.2 has killed all audio in firefox. Other browsers and programs have functioning audio. But nothing restores audio in FireFox after the update. I have closed and re-started FF - even hot and cold reboots of the machine. It is clearly a FF issue. The only solution appears to be a roll back, unless there is a preferences line that might have been shifted.

I recently switched from Safari to Firefox on my IPhone. When I realized that they don’t integrate I deleted the RoboForm app. and reinstalled it on my IPhone. Unfortunately they still don’t integrate and RoboForm will not fill in forms and passwords. Contacted RoboForm and they told me that they are investigating but I think that they don’t have an answer. In the meantime I have to copy/paste my logins. Somewhere I read that I should have the RoboForm icon on the top right corner of my screen- never happened. Anybody else goes through similar issues? Does anyone have suggestions(other than switch browser/password manager)? Thanks, Alberto

Over the past month or so, as often as not, when I receive an email it is immediately deleted before I can read it. I have not modified the program or installed any new software, antivirus or otherwise. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and, if so, do you know a fix? Thank you.

I HAVE THE FIX - Create a new PROFIE and import from HTML or restore again.

To create a new "PROFILE", click on the PROFILES menu and click NEW PROFILE, type in your FIRST NAME click on a color of your choice and click the DONE EDITING button. Now, IMPORT FROM HTML or RESTORE your bookmarks from the file you created.

If Firefox doesn't have a PROFILES menu choice (no problem), just type ABOUT:PROFILES into the address bar (where you would normally type a website address) and press the ENTER key on your keyboard.

If you need to type ABOUT:PROFILES (don't forget to type the COLON between ABOUT and PROFILES)

When the profiles window appears, click the CREATE A NEW PROFILE button, the CREATE PROFILE WIZARD will appear, (read the message and click the NEXT button, type in your FIRST NAME and click the FINISH button.

The new profile has been created. Close out of Firefox (multiple copies may be open). Close all of them, then restart Firefox and IMPORT FROM HTML or RESTORE your bookmarks.

Backup and Restore work best.

hi i have 2 pc's using tb , one can sign in to my outlook.com acct, but the desktop pc can not. have checked all setting etc

the working installation is on esr update channel, other on is not [so i have 2 difference tb versions]. both are updated

if anyone sees in a forum that i had email trouble recently pls note that i now have an old backup of win10 in service on the desktop pc. haven't yest found my way back to that forum to post the results of using peoples advice but they were very helpful

my thunderbird freezes at the point of checking mails. when i try to update it, it opens a new application completely and doesn't update my present one. i also can't find the location of the app or the data. pls help!!!

I’ve noticed that Firefox on my Android phone becomes noticeably slow whenever I open certain video or streaming pages. The browser doesn’t crash, but the page takes a long time to respond, and scrolling becomes choppy until the video fully loads.

I’ve tried clearing the cache, disabling add-ons, and testing on both Wi-Fi and mobile data. The issue only seems to happen on Firefox — the same sites load smoothly on other browsers.

Is this a known performance limitation, or is there something in the settings I should adjust? I’m not sure if it’s related to media decoding or just heavy websites.

in the last three days or so, the pop up window in FF where I would find the copy, paste etc has its script disapearing. it shows some space in black, and if I hit it just right I can still open a new window for example, even tho the script for that programming is no longer there. does anybody have an idea? I am fully updated mint user, it is starting to be bother some, do I need to deinstall/reinstally?, I would prefer not to, sigh, but I certainly wouldn't want to do it if it won't fix the issue Thank you for any suggestions

I have just started getting this error message when sending email from my @live.ca account. I do not get this message when sending from a @gmail or @company.ca address.

Quote: "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Non-Compliant sender address. Code : -1. Please check the message and try again."

I can send and receive email using this address from my Android phone or from my Windows eMail client, so why is Thunderbird causing this? I have looked through all the setting and cannot find anything different from the settings for the @gmail accounts.

Background: Using Thunderbird for almost an year and extremely happy with the product set. I use it to access GMAIL via POP and use the settings "After the email gets downloaded to my computer, delete the GMAIL copy" (Settings attached).

My usage pattern which changed recently: Earlier, I will always download emails using Thunderbird every day and it was working perfectly. Recently I have to travel for few days and during those days I will access my GMAIL via my android mobile primarily and I download all the emails after my return.

Current Issue: Now after I return, all the mails gets downloaded, but it does not get deleted at GMail side (online). From the time I started using Thunderbird after my return, the newer emails from that time are getting downloaded and deleted but the old emails stay in GMail. Current inconvenience is it takes time to validate if all the important emails are downloaded and I cleanup the GMAIL manually and then we are all in sync. This continues until my next travel. I tried resetting the GMAIL POP settings and there is no improvement.

Any pointers or suggestions to resolve will be gladly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
