My contract with Plusnet is due to expire so I renewed it. P would not accept my password as it did not meet their standards. I added a symbol but now I am unable to sign in to Thunderbird. I have checked all my settings which have not changed except the password but still I cannot sign in to get emails. There is an IMAP mailbox with a huge array of emails and folders, and a large number of configured filters. The emails that were sent did not open correctly, i.e. we see one header, but a completely different email opens, this is not the case with all emails, selectively. This also happens sometimes in previously received emails, and it also happens that the counter for new unread emails in some folders does not display until you enter this folder. The problem is only when working through the Thunderbird client, it has been going on for more than a year, the client has also been updated many times. This problem is reproduced on other PCs when we are log in this user account . There are no similar problems in the browser. Please help.

Thunderbird Problem: For many years I have been using the Thunderbird mail client currently in ver. 128.7.0esr (32 bit) on S.O. Windows 10 Home Update 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5487), 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor. I have a couple of mail accounts, one of mine and one of my wife. My problem is that for a few days now (about 5 or 6 days) on the InBox folder of my account, only mine, I have not been able to compact the folder. When I try to compact it, the response message is always the following: <The Inbox folder on "my_account_name@gmail.com" cannot be compacted because it is not possible to write to it. Verify that you have enough disk space and have write privileges, then try again> On my disk the available space is 121 Gb on C: where the program with the InBox folders resides and 266 Gb where the data stored in custom folders resides. The write privileges are always the same, never changed, of Administrator. I have already tried the path of "repairing the folder" and re-indexing the folder, but without success. Windows 10 Home Agg. 22H2 (Build sistema operativo 19045.5487), Sistema operativo a 64 bit, processore basato su x64. Ho un paio di account di posta, uno mio e uno di mia moglie. Il mio problema è che da qualche giorno in qua (circa 5 o 6 giorni) sulla cartella InBox del mio account, solo del mio, non riesco ad eseguire la compattazione della cartella. Al tentativo di compattarla il messaggio di risposta è sempre il seguente: <La cartella Posta in arrivo su "nome_mio_account@gmail,com" non può essere compattata in quanto non è possibile scriverci. Verificare di avere spazio su disco sufficiente e avere privilegi di scrittura, quindi riprovare> Sul mio disco lo spazio disponibile è di 121 Gb su C: dove risiede il programma con le cartelle InBox e di 266 Gb dove risiedono i dati archiviati in cartelle personalizzate. I privilegi di scrittura sono sempre quelli, mai cambiati, di Amministratore. Ho già tentato la strada della "riparazione della cartella" e della re-indicizzazione della cartella, ma senza successo. Qualcuno può suggerirmi un rimedio, per favore? Grazie Riccardo

Is there a way to change the keyboard shortcut for the Bookmarks Library back to Ctrl-Shift-B?

I tried the old solution offered here (config.js / config-prefs.js), but it no longer seems to work in FF 131: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1318541

Hi, in windows 10, while I am launching Firefox - if it does not exist yet - a new read-only file is created on the Desktop. This file was created time ago by myself (so its name does not matter much and it contains only a small empty branch). I can't delete it as far as I don't have the rights to do it. I tryied used cmd console and powershell to fix it, but nothing works fine. I run my antivirus, no more result. Tried to trash this file using external programs, same issue. Tryied to change the rights of that file, to reinstall completly FF, nothing seems to be useful. Possible way to solve it : I clean up my C: last week because I wanted more space and a better organization (moment from which that problem began). It is like Firefox was needing a file in the Windows tree and as he couldn't find it, he creates it because he need that this file exists. Regards

My MacOS is 10.13.6 (cannot go higher on this machine). Since update to 15.119.0esr, embedded map graphics are no longer showing. The map graphic sub-window instead shows "Sorry, we have no imagery here" in several places across the map. I am getting the same for multiple websites, including the location maps in Zillow.com . Google Maps works fine, and I think the problem is isolated to maps embedded in pages. Did not have this issue last week, prior to updating to 15.119.0esr. This is SO BAD that if it's not fixable, I want to revert to 15.118...

I use containers to segregate cookies amongst specific groups as I desire, further, I use the Mozilla Multi-Account Containers extension so i can sync these containers across devices and clear cookies for individual containers. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any way for me to clear the cookies of all my non-containerised browsing. In Firefox settings, I can clearly see that I can clear ALL my data, but I only want the data that has been used when I select "No container" for a new tab to be cleared. I am unsure if this is a missing feature or I am just unable to find it.

In the images provided you can see that you can manage your containers with this add-on and clear the storage and cookies for individual containers, however, this list lacks the "No Container" (which I guess is a container of its own) and the general firefox clear storage and cookies menu clears everything, including my containerised storage and cookies.

The past weeks/months I do not see any square check boxes where they are supposed to be. When I click in the space where I know ther is supposed to be one, a check mark does appear, but it is annoying. Buttons remain empty visibly when I check it. No dot appears, but it does register that I clicked it. Also annoying. It's in automatic, light and dark mode the same

P.S. The same with the check box (email me) on this page, but now I see a check box but not if I clicked it.
