My Thunderbird does not have the OAUTH2 option. Using 31.4.0, says it is up to date. How do I install it?

You can get latest release at thunderbird dot net. For safety, I suggest backing up your profile prior to the update.
According to Thunderbird I have the latest release. When I go to Help / About Thunderbird it states t is up to date. So why do I have to update it? Rick
What you have was the latest version for a release cycle. You need a newer version to have OAUTH support.
