How do you refresh Mozilla Firefox? Can I roll back the version of Firefox to about six months ago before I had all these problems I am now having?

Multiple tabs open over and over and I can't get out of it. Mozilla crashes all the time now. It does not work as great as it used to back eight months ago. Also add on keeps doing stuff or the plug ins keep adding stuff I don't want.
