The task bars on the top keep disappearing from my screen whenever I move my mouse away from hovering over them, I want to know how to stop and to keep them constantly on the screen at all times.

I have discovered a reproducible issue pertaining to audio and video desyncing that I have tested on youtube, prime video, and netflix.

I am utilizing Windows 11 Home on an HP Envy Laptop. The bluetooth audio device I am using are the Galaxy Buds FE.

Audio desyncs from video playback when pausing a video (either by clicking pause, using the keyboard to press pause, or by pausing using the earbud touchpad). I noticed that with my desktop computer and my Samsung S22 Ultra phone, when pausing and unpausing a video, the video player has a brief buffering period to auto-sync the audio to the video; however, this is not occurring with the laptop and it causes the audio and video to desync.

I am running Firefox ver. 131. The program constantly increases the amount of memory it uses. Task manager shows 14 processes running under Firefox, it also shows a green leaf Efficiency icon next to it. I am using an HP Victus laptop with a Ryzen 5 cpu and 8 Gb of ram. The program will continue to use more memory until it locks up the system and I have to use Task Manager to restart . I don't know how to solve this. It is a new development which may be associated with the 131 update. Please help.

I have in stall Ubunku on my acer and it cbold textame with firefox and i try to set up aol and aolmail on the system. when i install aol and try to open my mail is said is did suppor mail. is there a way to install aol and the mail work?

Not sure if its the update for firefox or the update of antivirus norton software, but firefox keeps crashing after I open it up. I tried restarting it about 10 times already. And even removed the app and reinstalled, but no luck. Not sure what else to do, but I love this browser and would hate to switch it up. Any advise would be great on how to fix this issue. Yikes ... this is EXTREMELY annoying. I always want to be asked where to download files. I have tried all the recommended fixes including going into "about:config" and changing the setting recommended in other threads ... no joy! I am using version 131.0 (64 bit) W10! I have tried refreshing ... no joy!

I use Internet Bill Pay through my bank, and it has always worked correctly with Firefox. I have enhanced tracking protection turned off for the site secureinternetbank.com and I have cookies authorized in my exceptions list. Today I got this message:

Bank says it hasn't changed anything, and no tweaks I tried on privacy settings fixed it. I believe it's an issue with the new version. Can you tell me how to fix it or let me know when Firefox will fix it? The site works fine in Microsoft Edge, but I'd like to avoid using Edge.

Version 131 caused me all sorts of playback issues in Visla AI video rendering program 130 was OK!! works fine in Chrome and Brave with no issues, Definitely a Firefox issue with video playback Playing already render videos have no issue only when playback on this particular Visla Site. You tube and other videos play OK

On 9/29/2024 my sign in to icloud to use mail worked fine. Monday 9/30/2024 the mail loaded but didn't work correctly. Prior to Monday, I could right click and select a delete, move, or whatever. I could open the email and the options were available just above the mail. If I use other browsers, edge, chrome, opera, etc it works great. It doesn't with FF(my preferred browser) I do not think this is an Apple issue. I've uninstalled and reinstalled icloud and reinstalled FF. Didn't uninstall it and lose all my data. I've added icloud.com to allowed list. Still doesn't work. I need help.

Hi I was wondering why Firefox uses so many instances just to run one tab? I keep lagging when I use this browser, and when I check Task Manager, it says its running up to 13 instances. I've had this happen when I've been actively using Firefox, watching videos on Firefox, and even just having one new tab open while I'm doing nothing else on my computer, and it still runs between 7 and 15 instances.

Before writing this question, I searched the already asked questions on Firefox and found someone having almost the same problem as me, only instead of all instances being grouped up (like mine), theirs wasn't. When I tried to follow someones fix to the problem, I soon found out that this was for an old version, and their instructions included an option that my up-to-date version didn't have anymore.

In conclusion, I'm having a problem where Firefox is running too many instances, and all of the answers to other peoples questions are out of date. Thanks!

Every time i update my bookmarks are removed and my extensions which I pin get unpined I can´t even open a tab without using settings. I need to reinstall my browser.

It appears there are a number of similar issues on this forum but they have all been archived so I cannot add to them.

With some websites Firefox seems to work fine. Other websites in the middle of an otherwise functional browsing session will completely fail to load, with or without a frozen loading bar. This happens on an android tablet and phone, mostly for the same websites. Sometimes I can come back to the tab a few minutes later, refresh or tap the URL bar and hit enter and it'll work. Sometimes I can copy the URL to a new tab where it will load normally. Sometimes neither method works, in which case rebooting the phone fails to fix it as well!!

On the tablet the reload button is visible on the menu bar, I found I can press and hold it which appears to do a different kind of refresh than just pressing it - I imagine akin to ctrl-f5 on Windows. This will sometimes work, but often not until a minute or two has elapsed.

I'm on Firefox 131 and has persisted for months so if it's something that should have been fixed in updates, it definitely doesn't apply to what I'm experiencing.

Please help! I am tired of having my browsing experience interrupted for multiple minutes or worse.

Few things:

TB frequently freezes, not responding. I assume it's due to huge file size and number of emails stored offline. Also, I often have to "repair folder" to the inbox because the message body is commonly just scrambled text or contains the message from a totally different email message or file attachments are missing, etc....

I'm using AOL, so I've accumulated about 50K emails in my account. I separated them by year, on the AOL server, in an attempt to reduce folder/file size(s). Doesn't appear to help, but doesn't make it worse. When I search for an email or sort by a column, it usually freezes for a few minutes up to a full lock up...

Also, no matter if the inbox is fully synched, the message at the bottom always seems to be "Downloading Message # out of 48,915" or whatever the new email count is at the time... After it completes the synch, I notice it starts over from "1 of " after some time.

Is there a max file/folder size that TB can handle for offline storage? Is there a way to increase the size? I don't want to delete emails as I need to reference years of archives on a regular basis. Do I completely delete (and data) and reinstall?

I am having a great deal of difficulty with Firefox playing YouTube videos. While I have been very happy with Firefox for a number of years I am thinking of going back to Google Chrome. I need to access YouTube videos for my work. I recognise that you will have 1000s of email requests for support but I would like a personal email back rather than being referred to a chat room that does not provide any help or solutions.

I have jumped ship from Chrome to Firefox today but I have encountered an issue with the site crunchyroll.com where the video content will jiggle around during playback (both full-screen and regular page view.) I have tested Youtube as well and the issue is not present on those videos. To give you a better picture of what it is like, it is like watching a video on an OLED screen with pixel shift enabled but it's super aggresive and is incredibly distracting.

To my memory I am pretty confident that the video player used on Crunyroll's website is a HTML5 player with DRM security and videos are in mp4 format.

I am running Firefox 131.0 (64-bit) completly fresh on Windows 11 with an RTX 30 series GPU. So far I have tried the following with no success and the jiggle remaining:

1. Cleared the site data and cache
2. Disabled Add-ons one-by-one to identify a potential culprit
3. Disabled Hardware acceleration
4. Ran Firefox in Safe Mode
5. All of the above in combination

I am stumped as to why this might be happening especially with a fresh out-of-box experiance. Any assistance you can provide on this would be greatly appreciated, as I would prefer to avoid Chromium browsers going forward.
