My bookmarks aren't syncing

This is a reoccurring problem. Some of my bookmarks will not sync from my phone to my computer. Yes, I looked in the "Mobile Bookmarks" folder, and they aren't there. While I do think the new sync system is far, far better than the old one, there are still problems. Here's what I think: Firefox is trying to get too automated. While I do want my bookmarks to sync automatically, it would be good to have a "Sync Now" button on both the Android browser and the Desktop browser. My problem could be easily solved if I had a way to manually sync my bookmarks. So, the instructions below says the more info the better: Windows 8.1, 64 bit on my laptop. Samsung Galaxy S4, Android 4.4
