What happened to my Firefox desktop icon?
Somehow my firefox icon disappeared after a restart on my computer. How do I get it back without having to reload Firefox completely and lose my bookmarks? Please email me back. Thx!
Chosen solution
- In a blank space on your Windows Desktop, right-click and choose "New" then choose "Shortcut".
- Click the "Browse" button,
- click "My Computer",
- navigate (in XP) to C:/Program Files/Mozilla Firefox and click on firefox.exe,
- click OK,
- back at the shortcut panel, click Next then click OK.
- You should see the icon on your Desktop.
- Done.
- Try the new shortcut to be sure that it loads Firefox.
