To set the tone, I hate smartphones. My computer just died, meaning now everything must be done on this dratted device. It's a Samsung Galaxy A35 5G, and I can't even find what software I am running, although my last system update was 7/1, and I autoupdate Firefox. I cannot log into Walmart on this thing. I put in my e-mail, but instead of asking for my password, it takes me to Walmart's home page. This happens repeatedly. I feel strongly about not using corporate apps, so I don't want to install Walmart's. I am using AdGuard AdBlocker and Privacy Badger

Chosen solution

In Firefox for Android, after I submit my email address, the page goes gray and I get an overlay asking me to hold down a button to prove I'm human. Are you seeing anything like that?

Then after that, it wants to me to choose whether to receive a verification code by text or email. Do you get that?

If you don't get those, are you using any other extensions that modify pages?

Sorry! I cannot understand the attraction of these horrible things. It won't let me fix anything!

It's odd. With other sites, I just had to okay the domain (walmart.com), in AdBlocker. With Walmart, I had to okay identity.walmart.com, too.

So it's really an extension problem, but I mention it in case someone else has the problem and is searching.

Thank you very much for your suggestion, though! I had forgotten that Dark Reader can sometimes obscure things, particularly Captcha and the like. I have that problem on Firefox for Mac on the CVS site, for instance. I'll keep that in mind the next time I'm having login troubles on Android.

Thanks again!
