Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad blocker.

Firefox only blocks websites with social media trackers, tracking content, fingerprinters, cryptominers and cross-site tracking cookies which some contain ads. (Find settings here about:preferences#privacy ) However you can install an ad blocker to your computer
