I managed to import my contacts from Outlooklive into Thunderbird, but can I import the contact groups or do I have to set them up from scratch again?
I have a hotmail account and have been accessing it online through outlook.live.com. I have just started using Thunderbird and have successfully exported my contacts to a csv file and then imported them into Thunderbird. However, i have a number of contact groups and don't seem to be able to transfer them over. Does anyone know if this is possible or do I have to start over and create all the groups again? Thanks in advance.

Groups do not import well between different email clients. You will probably have to recreate them.
