Thunderbird just stopped working on my laptop early this week for no apparent reason, and I ended up having to reinstall from scratch to v.91.0.3. It however seems to have lost all the contacts and groups in my Address Book - it appears to be completely empty. Any ideas as to how I could rectify this without having to load them individually all over again would be extremely welcome. Many thanks.

Hi, OS Windows 10

I had the same issue and other problems as well. Finally I followed the following solution. 1. Backed up my emails ( using Mailstore) 2. Exported contacts, calendars. 3. Uninstalled TB 4. Deleted Thunderbird folders in Local & Roaming folders 5. Installled TB 91.x.x and created a new profile 6. Created a new profile, created the accounts and imported calendars, contacts 7. Restored my emails using Mailstore.

The result is that TB is working fine without any issues,

Note: TB91 does face issues when old TB versions profile folder is kept when installed because it's a totally new revised developed version.
