Can't drag-drop files from desktop to google drive in mozilla as of few hours ago
A few hours ago, I used a cache cleaner to speed up my desktop. Since then, I have been unable to drag files from my desktop onto my google drive account. I get a little circle with a slash through it as I drag through. HELP! I am a teacher and drag and drop and google drive is how I keep up with my students.

Your browser identified itself as Chrome. Does it work in any of your browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.)?
Does Google Drive has a browse button to open the Desktop folder and upload files that way?
I happened to write on the forums from Chrome, ergo the identifiction as that. Yes, it works (and has worked int he past) from Chrome. Just not from Firefox.
Don't know what you mean by "Does Google Drive has a browse button to open the Desktop folder and upload files that way?" Where would this be? It's always been drag and drop onto the drive in Firefox
Turns out the upload button is on the "NEW" button menu. Example screenshot attached. Does that one work for you?
Thanks for your help. I ended up unpinning all tabs, closing them, reopening the browser, re-opening tabs and voila! All solved! No idea why!! Am just glad it works, despite google's help/chat person telling me drag and drop doesn't function in Firefox. Puzzled by their assertion! I got a lot more help from you than them, and I appreciate it.
