why are bookmarks hidden?

more options

Why are bookmarks now hidden behind 2 menus, The ones listed under the library symbol are not the ones I use daily, I have to search for something to make the browser quicker to use, man you guys failed here. and in the second menu the bookmarks are all in folders the way I had them before BUT that means nothing to the quick menu, none are in folders and are not organized in any manner and I am unable to organize them myself. No wonder chrome has 70% of the market they actually understand how humans use a browser. Because this a fundamental function of a browser and nothing to do with my equipment, I will not give my time to fix your screw up.

We both wish the new bookmarks menu button () appeared by default instead of being optional. Here's how you add it. Either:

(A) Use the Customize panel (Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars) to drag the icon to the desired spot on the toolbar

(B) Use the method from Bookmarks in Firefox - section entitled: How do I add the Bookmarks Menu button to the toolbar?

  • Click the "Library" button:
  • Click "Bookmarks"
  • Click "Bookmarking Tools"
  • Click "Add Bookmarks Menu to Toolbar"

now I have 2 buttons for my bookmarks how generous, still does not change the idea that making bookmarks convenient is optional is the default position. This is the main reason I don't support Mozilla with money, while making noise that they are the best browser the lack of understanding on how consumer's use a browser seems to be ignored.
