Tab Center 1.37.0 Installed by default?
I installed a new firefox update and after some time I saw a new extension in the bar where website title are shown I clicked on it and it was for managing tabs I was not sure what it was so I thought that its probably an update to the firefox browser so then I went to Add-ons and I checked the addon name is 'Tab Center 1.37.0' or 'Tab Center 1.3.7.0' (I dont remember exactly because I deleted it) So then I tried to search for some information about this update in new 56.0 Changelog but nothing about this. Creator of addon was said is 'Mozilla' but then I checked every addon created by Mozilla at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/mozilla/ and I didnt find anything with 'Tab Center' in it. Does anyone have any information about this addon?

'Tab Center' was (still is, actually) a Firefox Test Pilot experiment.
Probably this extension that is part of Test Pilot:

Too bad that you don't remember the exact name, for there is an extension called 'Tab Center Redux' :

The extension may have sneaked in with the latest update, but since you're not sure about the exact title of the add-on (you panicked, right ?) it's rather hard to tell. But cor-el may have a better explanation .....
I see this bug report about a Shield study for Firefox 56, so it is possible that this project has been revived
- Bug 1380005 - [Shield] Opt-out Study Tab Center
- Tab Center 1.37.0 tabcentertest1@mozilla.com
@ cor-el :
Good for you to have found that bug report !
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1380005
That explains how it good have 'sneaked in' with the update.

Thank you for these links, cor-el. Read them all earlier, but they don't explain why somebody, who's not using Test Pilot, would suddenly find Tab Center among his extensions.
But the bug report you posted does, though. Kudos .....
@ kagis :
How rude : I totally forgot to ask you if these posts have reassured you and put your mind at ease ...... (?)
If one person gets this extension then other may see it too. With some information it makes it easier to reference this without the need to redo the research if we encounter more questions about this subject. It is only for Firefox 56 since legacy extensions like this one won't work in 57+ (actually I'm not really sure about this since there are whitelisted system extensions).
