Note that you can run the JavaScript code in the Scratchpad in Browser environment.

• open the Environment menu in the Scratchpad and select Browser
• paste the JavaScript code in the Scratchpad editor area
• click Run to run the JavaScript code

You can backup the logins.json and key3.db files in the profile folder to have a backup of the passwords.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
