Firefox crashes - new installation after windows update and kasperski installation

more options

Dear Sir/Madam, after resetting my laptop (was 8.1, now Windows 8) I updated Windows and reinstalled several programmes again. For Firefox I downloaded the current version 48). Kasperski anti-virus is the one I already used. Kasperski does not seem to block Firefox. The crash report (ID): bp-0586d3bd-e800-42e-a004-2e92f2160805

(The browser and system I use now is not the one affected) I would be grateful for some advice.

Kind regards Stephanie Holzhauer

Hello,

Could you please check your crash ID? It doesn’t appear to be valid, possibly because of a missing 4th character in the 3rd segment (42e).

Hello,

The correct crash report (ID): bp-0586d3bd-e800-42de-a004-2e92f2160805

Indeed, the d in 42de was missing. Thanks for the hint!

Kind regards Stephanie Holzhauer
