I know they are 3 lines on top of each other, but I do not see them anywhere

Hello, I have just switched to Fire Fox. Got a message to update, so I was reading the instructions and it said the menu key are 3 lines on top of each other. I cannot find it anywhere on the screen. I think I'm in the right place.

Thanks

Janice Thompson

I believe it's referring to the "hamburger" prevalent in browsers. Uploaded an image of what you should look for and click on it.

Hi Janice, when you posted this question, your Firefox identified itself as an extremely ancient version (3.6). The 3-bar menu button was not added until Firefox 29, so on that old version, go to the Help menu and try About Firefox to see whether there is an update button there. If the menu bar is hidden, tap the Alt key or F10 key to show the menu bar.

For future reference, please see the attached.

Alternately, to download a new installer, you can use the following page:

https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Scroll down to your preferred language and, for maximum plugin compatibility, choose the 32-bit version.
