Why can't I use Norton Toolbar on Firefox (can't be verified? I've been using it for years). Time to change my Browser??

I've used Norton on various versions of Firefox for several years. I also find their password protection for several different sites handy. Recently, it disconnected Norton from my add ons because it "couldn't be verified." More about protecting me (from Norton). I don't get it. I don't see any way of overriding this. Anybody got any ideas?

You can use the Norton Toolbar in Firefox. https://community.norton.com/en/blogs/product-update-announcements/firefox-40-support-norton-toolbar

Note that the norton toolbar does nothing to enhance your security that Firefox doesn't already have built in, and the norton toolbar is well known for causing other issues. Having the norton toolbar installed doesn't impact the actual anti-virus part of norton, which is still keeping you secure.
