i have firefox on my laptop, somehow it will not open, but says its running i can only use internet explorer & dont want to i want to use firefox pls help

firefox has been dwnld. on my laptop. somehow I have knocked myself off . it will not open I can only use int. explorer. I do not know how to get firefox to open although it shows the emblem on the comp, and says it s running please help me get my firefox page back. thanks

A first way is trying to start Firefox in Safe Mode.

Open the Task Manager, find the firefox.exe process and end it. Next, start Firefox by holding down the shift key of your keyboard. Does Firefox start?
