My firefox messed up

Hello this happen frequently usually when scrolling contents will be messed up It will back to normal if I keep scrolling up down repeatedly It started around update 34 probably, i don't quite remember I recently reinstall my Windows 8.1 unfortunately it still happen

not a big problem just curious or maybe there's a fix

I could not tell much with the picture you posted. How about a closeup?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

You can reinstall the software ... and also update any drivers which might be requiring update as sometimes they interfere with normal functions if they are out of date

all my drivers are up to date

that how it was, a jumbled mess will try turn off hardware acceleration

happen randomly at any website no particular one

  • edit: turn off hardware acceleration seems to work, doesn't have issues anymore
