Having been told the password is incorrect I had a 'reset e-mail' sent to me (5 times). I each time it was succesful - but when I try to sign on with this password I am told it is incorrect. What can I do? I have a recent download version of firefox.

Is it only a single site you have issues with ?

I assume you are not asking about this support.mozilla.org site as you have posted a question and so must have been able to sign in.

Try clearing Firefox's recent cache, and the sites cookies.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu, choose History, and then "Clear Recent History...".
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. See Clear cookies and site data in Firefox_delete-cookies-for-a-single-site
  4. Follow the instructions in that article to search for you problem site and delete its cookies.

Further information can be found in the Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox article.
