The address in the browser bar changes so fast I might be wrong on the order of letters but it starts as srshql.com or something like that that and then turns into a CBS add (today) for the young & restless. Yesterday it was adds about what I was searching (car parts) can not figure out hoe to stop it. Happens most frequently when I open & use a new tab but not consistent.

Hello,

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of. Please go to:

  • Tools > Add-ons, or New Fx Menu > Add-ons

And remove any suspicious add-ons. If the problem persists, you can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Not sure which worked as I did both but issue is resolved!!! I think is was the add-on. When I first hit the add-on tab it said no new add ons but there was another tab that DID show an add-on. Deleted it and walla!!! No more pop-ups! Thank You so much for your prompt & excellent reply!
