Why can't I use Ff for Android on my Huawel IDEOS U8150?
When I try to download Ff for Androids, Google sticks its nose in (they are sooo intrusive) and says I can't. Why is this? Don't Google like getting pushed out?

The SD card is storage space, not RAM.

According to a spec sheet I saw, your device uses the MSM7225 processor and has 256MB of RAM. According to a Wikipedia article, the MSM7225 processor supports up to the ARMv6 instruction set. If this is true, then unfortunately, your device won't work with Firefox Mobile for Android because it requires as a minimum the ARMv7 instruction set. It also may fail to install if there is less than 512MB of RAM in the device.
Thanks for that jscher. It seems I'm stuck with the Googley browser.
Actually the issue is not so much that it has a ARMv6 cpu as mobile Firefox does have support for ARMv6 as of Firefox 17.0. The upcoming mobile Firefox 19.0 has the cpu requirements lowered to 600 MHz but you would still be rather short on RAM.
The issue is that the cpu is only 528 MHz and it only has 256MB RAM.

Thanks for that, James. OK - the SD card capacity (3GIG) doesn't help then? Cheers, Ron.

Yes, I realise that. No such thing as virtual memory on this stuff then?
You can try the ARMv6 nightly build which can be downloaded from https://nightly.mozilla.org/
