Problem with making firefox open a file type with a certain program every time!
I have a problem with the function of mozilla firefox to open certain files with a chosen by me program. For example i have a word documents that i want firefox not to ask what to do and open them with word and i do this setting to do that. But no matter how i make that setting it always asks me what to do with .doc files. And that problem is with all files no matter what. I managed to make one page (unknowingly how) to start open certain files with a program of my choosing without asking me but that is only on one page. On other it still asks me!

Tools | Options | Applications and change the "Action" type for the files you want Firefox to open for you. See Applications and Manage file types and download actions in Firefox

Nothing happens the program is set from 3 days already and still always ask me.
Did you look at the Manage file types and download actions in Firefox link I just edited in the post above already?
I know what you mean and i saw the edited post and I'm telling you exactly what is the problem. The program is set box is checked and still always asks me!

No change i deleted it restarted firefox i made the association with the program and checked the box to always open the file type with the program of my choosing and still asks me.
