Will not let me specify Across Lite app to open PUZ files on download

When I download PUZ files Firefox declares an error. When I go to Preferences-Applications and try to specify the Across Lite program it ignores the choice. This worked on older versions and it works in Chrome.

I have the same problem but at least found a workaround. Try to download the .puz file in Firefox. You'll get the error in the Downloads window. Click the "refresh" button in the Downloads window for the .puz file. The second time, it should work. At least it does for me.

I do have the same problem where it won't let me specify Across Lite in the Applications list.

That doesn't seem to address sending the file directly to AcrossLite and having AL open it. All that seems to do is to address a download error.
