the password is not memorized on the FiOS Actiontec Router

The password is not memorized when I access the FiOS Actiontec Router. Other passwords are memorized just fine for every other site, but when I look at 192.168.1.1, it shows up with fine with "admin" in the tools, options, saved passwords, show passwords but the password is blank. Deleting 192.168.1.1 some times (not always) causes the browser to offer to memorize the password, but the password is never actually memorized.
