Some websites dont work with DNS over HTTPS set to Cloudflare

Please see attached images that show my settings for DNS over HTTPS set to cloudflare (default) i have to add exceptions to this for multiple sites that do not open. these websites either show me SSL errors or they completely stop opening entirely. what could be the issue here? the websites open completely fine once i turn off this feature or use another browser.

I have that setting and haven't come across this issue. What are the sites you are trying to reach to see if it can be duplicated?

I was able to browse to it. The link redirected to https://www.prodealmakers.com/ and the certificate looked okay. It was renewed on July 28, 2026.

for me its still the same. i've added this URL as an exception and only then it works. its the same on chrome too. but in chrome there is no exception list. only when i turn off this feature this webpage opens fine.
