You are offering VPN as part of Firefox. I already pay for VPN from you. Will this be cancelled when the free version is available?

Hi,

The Firefox built-in VPN is offered in stages to users in the US, UK, Germany and France (starting with Firefox version 149), and in Canada starting with Firefox version 150. It may not be available to you yet, even if you’re in one of these locales, as the staged rollout takes time to reach everyone.

If the built-in VPN is available, you would see a VPN icon in the top-right corner of the toolbar, which opens a prompt to turn on the VPN. You would also need to sign in to a Mozilla account. For more information, see the Use built-in VPN in Firefox article.

If you wish, you can post your feedback about the Firefox built-in VPN to the Mozilla Connect thread.

Thank you for using the paid VPN.

From the article, the built-in VPN is still rolling out for limited users. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/built-in-vpn And it has a monthly limited quota.

The paid one will be better I think.

To answer your question. What if I subscribe to Mozilla VPN?

The VPN is free and browser-only. If you choose to subscribe to Mozilla VPN, you’ll get device-level protection, including:

Encrypted traffic across all apps and services, not just Firefox.
Additional privacy features and customization options.

If you're a Mozilla VPN subscriber, we recommend removing the VPN icon from the toolbar to avoid duplicate protection. On Windows, you can also install the Mozilla VPN extension to obtain even more value from your subscription.

Hello

Take a look at https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/introducing-firefox-s-built-in-vpn-ip-protection-now-in-the/m-p/124386/highlight/true#M49037

From Firefox 151, the user will be able to choose from one of the five locations: in addition to the United States, servers are also available in Germany, Great Britain, France and Canada.
