Mozilla Thunderbird updated and lost al of my email accounts. I have re-established my G-mail accounts but cannot get two other accounts to show up. The email setup account setup wizard, in settings, just keeps searching. How can I set email accounts up manually?

two comments, one of which may work for you:
- sometimes thunderbird creates a new profile and indicates you need to create a new email account when the old profile can be restored by clicking help>troubleshootinginformation, scrolling to 'profiles' and clicking 'about:profiles' and then relaunching the old profile
- the setup wizard is buggy. click to settings>general and UNtick the experimental setting and restart
