Incoming server times out
I just changed the incoming and outgoing servers on Thunderbird. Both are the same server name. I can send emails but when I check email, the incoming server times out. I added the account that I check with Thunderbird to Outlook and it both receives and sends emails.

Which is your email provider? If they publish the settings needed to configure the mail client (most of them do) and you post a screenshot of the server settings you're currently using, we may check whether you've configured the account correctly in Thunderbird.
