I recently added an ADDON that function to, OPEN A LINK IN A NEW TAB.

I saw something about that the Addon wasn't monitored for security.

This lead me to ask this question:

DO ADDONS SEND INFORMATION TO OTHER ENTITIES BESIDES FIREFOX, FOR EXAMPLE DO THEY SEND INFO TO THE DEVELOPERS OF ADDONS?

Any data that an extension collects must be clearly disclosed in the data consent policies associated with the extension, which you can read more about at the link below.
