Thunderbird as a cloud platform

Life long outlook user and switched to Thunderbird a year ago. It has its quirks and I have learned to deal with them so all good. I run a micro business from home and totally rely on apps. The only app that is local is Thunderbird. All others are cloud-based. Wondering if Thunderbird will develop a cloud platform alongside the local app? Happy to pay a subscription.

I doubt it... the roadmap does not include anything like that. https://developer.thunderbird.net/planning/roadmap but this is a support forum. Feedback and ideas should be submitted using the link on Thunderbird's help menu.
