Bookmark Favicons
Favicons do not seem to be saving with the bookmarks on many manga sites that I read. Examples https://manhuaplus.com/manga/emperors-domination/ https://mangaweebs.in/manga/pqmiwcdmho/ https://novelmic.com/manga/god-of-martial-arts-comics/ https://www.nightcomic.com/manga/spare-me-great-lord/ There are many more these are just a few. Also sometimes they do save correctly, be it after only clicking it one time to load it or twenty times. They do randomly work sometimes. This has nothing to does with all the normal ways of trying to fix favicons not saving or updating. I have tried all the ways I could find by googling. Most of the bookmarks save just fine. Its only the ones that come from many of the manga sites I read so it has to do with their sites I believe. I do not think their sites aren't broken for saving the favicons though because they do work random and if I try to save any of the websites as bookmarks in chrome it works perfectly. I hope this is just a small fix you can implement or tell me more of a direct way of fixing it myself because I can not find a solution that will work consistently. Especially after clearing history, cookies, and cache.

Maybe look at this extension to see if that works better.
Have tried it does not work.
The first one was inconsistent for me; there was a long delay while, perhaps, Firefox was considering which icon it wanted from among the choices in the page and the missing "default" icon (favicon.ico at the site's root level). The second one worked on the first try.
Besides the caching issue, Firefox may not like large touch-style icons for bookmarks, and seems to prefer favicon.ico -- that can result in the bookmark having a different icon than the one that appears on the tab.
Is there a way to automatically have firefox only bookmark with favicon.ico then?

I don't think there is a setting to change which image Firefox chooses. Also, some sites do not have a favicon.ico like that first example you gave.
So the websites have to fix it themselves or firefox needs to save the favicons like chrome does. So either way its probably not going to happen for a very long time. Ok thanks for telling me.
