I erroneously blacklisted a sender

How can I un blacklist that sender - White listing just produced an error message - there is already a rule for such and such an address!

Despite using email for 30 years I still get confused by this stuff and am not sure what to do so I can be sure I receive emails from that sender in future.

Please advise.
