Constantly getting "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder"
I dont know when this started as I have been putting up with it for a number of months now but I get this message nearly every time I send a message or after I have restarted thunderberg client. Sometimes I dont get it. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this ?
If I I restart thunderberg client I often the first time get an additional window that requires me to accept a new certificate, I have to do that only once but its each time I restart Thundeberg.
The first one I mentioned gives me this below
"Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent-"
Thankyou.

who is shown as the issuer of the certificate you are accepting? Avast is something I would guess but please check.
Thankyou, yes the certificate seems to relate to AVG, after your comment I did some more searching an there appears to be an issue with Thunderberg and AVG certs. I will try the solution I found on one site explaining the certs.
I have the Subject Line problem with my Yahoo accounts, formerly .att (AT&T) mail. The email is sent (Thunderbird 78.6.1 (32-bit), on a 64-bit WIndows machine), but the message repeats several times, whether you select try-again, don't save, or whatever. The email address is [my name] dot att.net. Outbound Server is outbound.att.net
I have tried changing the security.tls.version.min setting to 1, and have Repaired all folders visible in the account's listing, but the problem continues. I do NOT get any messages about Security Certificates when starting up or using Thunderbird.
Latest update 78.8.1 causes this problem on all my email accounts. Otherwise, was working perfectly prior to this update. I had 160 messages in Sent folder and when I "repaired" it emptied the folder. The messages are still on the server and show properly in the IOS application on my iphone.
