Firefox Private Network sign in failure

Firefox Private Network fails to sign in. When I attempt to sign into Firefox Private Network from the browser extension on my Firefox 77.0.1 (64bit) browser, I get all the way to the sign in window with my sign in email already filled in, but when I select the 'sign in' I receive a sign in failure. No other information is provided. Can you please provide info on how I might fix this?

I've created a new account and attempted login and that does not work either.
