I'm new to Android and I noticed having tabs in addition to windows is pretty bad UX, because the address bar is hidden during scrolling down so you need to always scroll up a bit in order to reach the Tabs button. I noticed the same shitty UX in Chrome. In contrast, the Android control buttons below are always reachable so it's one scroll and one click faster to switch among windows. I suggest we remove tabs from Firefox for Android and use windows instead - or at least make it configurable. The initial idea behind tabs 2000s was to reduce mouse movement, because you have the address bar close to the list of tabs. On touch screens though, that's history. Is there maybe a plugin to enable windows back?

Hi

Windows would be a challenge on an mobile device due to the small screen size (and I am not sure that Android supports them.

I do recommend that you give the new Firefox Preview a try which has a different and refreshed UX.

Android should support multi-activity app in separate windows fine, see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/35986714/how-do-i-launch-the-same-activity-into-a-separate-window-in-android-n-multi-wind

I will try new firefox preview, thanks.
